Our Concept Consult is a focussed working session for clients who need clarity around a room, furnishing direction or an idea they have not yet been able to resolve.
We look at the space, the way you want to live and the decisions in front of you, then work through them together with a clear design point of view.
You leave with enough direction to move forward yourself, or a stronger foundation for a broader Cadell Collective engagement.
The session is shaped around the decisions you need help making.
That might include furniture layout, scale and proportion, colour, material direction, existing pieces, art, lighting, textiles or how different elements of the room should work together.
We look at what is already there, what is missing and where the direction has become unclear.
The aim is to give you a clearer framework for what comes next, rather than solve every detail in isolation.
Following the session, you receive a summary document of our conversation, with the specification for your room's colour and materials scheme.
It records your brief, then the scheme itself: a photograph of the flatlay we assemble together, and a schedule of every material in it, with its colour, type and product details where they apply.
It is not a complete furnishing design – it is a starting point you can buy against with confidence.

You may choose to take the direction forward yourself, using the session as a framework for the decisions that follow.
For others, the consult becomes the starting point for a broader Cadell Collective furnishing engagement.

The Concept Consult session is run in person or online – where possible we prefer in person so that you can see and feel the colours and materials in our library. We travel from the Sunshine Coast to Byron Bay, and a travel fee applies outside Brisbane.
Before the session, we ask you to share relevant photos, plans, references and any questions you would like to work through so the time can be used productively.
The Concept Consult fee is credited toward a subsequent Cadell Collective design engagement if you choose to continue within 12 months.
